Lynda Carter is an American performer and actress with an estimated net worth of $10 million. Lynda Carter was crowned Miss World USA 1972 but she is best known for her role in the live-action TV show "Wonder Woman," inspired by the DC comic book. Carter also appears in films like "Super Troopers,"" "Sky High,"" and "The Dukes of Hazzard," and in a number of TV shows that were made specifically for television, such as "Hotline," "Daddy," and "Slayer. "Lynda Carter was born in 1951 Phoenix, Arizona to Colby and Juanita Carter. She is of English and Scots-Irish origin from her father's side and of Mexican, Spanish, and French heritage on her mother's side. Carter is a half-brother named Vincent, and a sister, Pamela. At age five, she made her TV debut on "Lew King's Talent Show." As a high school student, she joined a pair of bandsand was a part of a lounge located in Las Vegas. Carter went to Arizona State University for college but determined to pursue a career in music. After performing on the tour of The Garfin Gathering, she quit in 1972 to follow an acting career.
